Terms of Use

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using any SRWorks plugin (ArmorPro, CitedPro, BoostPro), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use our products.

1. License grant

When you purchase a license, SRWorks grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the plugin on the number of WordPress sites specified by your tier (Personal: 1 site, Business: 5 sites, Agency: up to 100 sites).

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, lease, or sublicense the plugin
• Include the plugin in any product offered for sale or distribution
• Use the Agency license to provide hosting services where the plugin is bundled for customers
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks

The plugins are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

SRWorks does not warrant that:

• The plugins will meet your specific requirements
• The plugins will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free
• The results obtained from using the plugins will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the plugins will be corrected

You understand and agree that you use our plugins at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any damage to your computer system, website, or loss of data that results from the download, installation, or use of our plugins.

We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SRWorks shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Website downtime, data loss, or corruption
• Security breaches or unauthorized access to your site
• Damages arising from third party products, services, or actions
• Damages resulting from your failure to maintain adequate backups

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SRWorks and its owner, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

• Your use of the plugins
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third party rights
• Any content or data you process through the plugins

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining regular backups of your WordPress site before installing or updating any plugin
• Testing plugins in a staging environment before deploying to production
• Ensuring your hosting environment meets the minimum requirements (PHP 7.4+, WordPress 5.0+)
• Keeping your plugins updated to the latest version
• Promptly reporting any security vulnerabilities through our contact form

7. Plugin behavior after license expiration

If your license expires:

• The plugin will continue to function on your site
• You will no longer receive updates or support
• Your settings and data will remain intact
• You may renew at any time to restore access

8. Intellectual property

All plugins, documentation, and related materials are the property of SRWorks LLC. Your license grants usage rights only. You acquire no ownership interest in the plugins.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our plugins or documentation, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law.

9. Third party services

Our plugins may integrate with third party services (such as MaxMind for geolocation data). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. SRWorks is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third party services.

10. Anonymous telemetry

Our plugins send anonymous telemetry events to our server (api.srworks.co) on activation, deactivation, and via a periodic heartbeat. Each event includes:

• Plugin name and version
• WordPress version and PHP version
• License status (active or inactive)
• A cryptographic hash of your site URL (we never see or store the actual URL)

No personal information, site content, or visitor data is collected. This data is used solely to understand which WordPress environments our plugins run on, prioritize compatibility, and improve our products. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

11. Affiliate program

We offer an affiliate program through Affonso that allows you to earn commissions by referring customers to our products. By participating in the affiliate program, you agree to the following:

• Affiliates earn 20% commission for the first 12 months of a referred subscription and 10% on renewals thereafter
• Referrals are tracked via a 60-day cookie set when a visitor clicks your affiliate link
• You may not use misleading claims, spam, or deceptive practices to promote our products
• You may not bid on our brand name or trademarks in paid advertising
• Self-referrals (purchasing through your own affiliate link) are not permitted
• We reserve the right to reject or reverse commissions obtained through fraudulent or deceptive activity
• We may modify commission rates, cookie duration, or program terms at any time with reasonable notice
• Either party may terminate the affiliate relationship at any time

The affiliate program is managed through Affonso. Payout terms and additional program rules are available in your affiliate dashboard.

12. Modifications to terms

SRWorks reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on our website. Your continued use of our plugins after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Deschutes County, Oregon.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SRWorks regarding the use of our plugins and supersede any prior agreements.
