Install CitedPro, activate your license, and complete the setup wizard in under 10 minutes.

Installation

CitedPro is installed like any WordPress plugin. You will need the ZIP file from your purchase confirmation email.

  1. Purchase CitedPro from srworks.co
  2. Download the plugin ZIP file from your confirmation email
  3. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  4. Select the ZIP file and click Install Now
  5. Click Activate Plugin

After activation, you will be automatically redirected to the CitedPro admin screen to begin setup.

License activation

A valid license key is required for CitedPro to function. Your license key is included in your purchase confirmation email and is also available in your Polar account.

  1. Navigate to CitedPro → Settings
  2. Find the License Key field
  3. Paste your license key and click Activate
  4. You should see a green confirmation indicating your license is active

Tip

Your license key is tied to the number of sites allowed by your plan (1 for Personal, 3 for Business, up to 50 for Agency). You can manage active sites from your Polar account.

Admin tabs overview

CitedPro organizes its features across seven tabs in the WordPress admin. Here is what each one does:

Quick start checklist

Follow these steps in order to get the most out of CitedPro right away:

  1. Activate your license in CitedPro → Settings
  2. Complete the Setup tab with your business name, description, and contact information at minimum
  3. Add services and FAQs in the Setup tab to give AI systems detailed information about your business
  4. Generate your AI discovery files from the Dashboard
  5. Configure robots.txt in the Robots tab with your preferred AIPREF directives
  6. Verify everything by visiting yoursite.com/llms.txt and yoursite.com/robots.txt

Important

Your business name and description are required before AI discovery files can be generated. Complete these fields in the Setup tab first.

Importing from an existing SEO plugin

If you already use Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO, or SEOPress, CitedPro can import your existing business data to save time. Check the Business Setup guide for details on importing.
