Smart Generate uses AI to help you create and improve the content that AI search engines use to understand your business. Instead of writing descriptions from scratch, let AI help you create optimized content.
What Smart Generate Can Do
Business Description
Generate a clear, compelling business description that explains what you do in terms AI systems can understand and recommend.
Service Descriptions
Create detailed service descriptions that help AI assistants accurately recommend your services for relevant queries.
FAQ Generation
Generate frequently asked questions and answers based on your business information. These help AI assistants answer questions about your business.
Team Bios
Create professional bios for team members that AI systems can reference.
Using Smart Generate
- Go to CitedPro → Setup
- Find a section you want to enhance (Business Description, Services, etc.)
- Click the Smart Generate button (sparkle icon)
- Review the generated content
- Accept, edit, or regenerate
Tip
Smart Generate works best when you've already entered basic information. The more context it has, the better the output.
Usage Limits
Smart Generate has a daily limit to ensure fair usage:
- 30 generations per day
- Limit resets at midnight UTC
- Counter shown in the Setup interface
Each click of the Smart Generate button counts as one generation.
Best Practices
Provide Context First
Fill in your business name, basic description, and industry before using Smart Generate. This gives the AI context to work with.
Review and Edit
Always review generated content. AI creates good starting points, but you know your business best. Edit to match your voice and ensure accuracy.
Be Specific About Services
When generating service descriptions, enter the service name and a brief note about what makes it unique. The AI will expand on this.
Use for FAQs
Smart Generate excels at FAQ creation. It can anticipate questions customers might ask based on your business type.
How It Works
Smart Generate:
- Sends your existing business data to our API
- AI analyzes the context and generates appropriate content
- Returns optimized content for AI search visibility
Privacy Note
Your business information is sent to our API for processing. We don't store or share this data beyond generating your content. See our privacy policy for details.
Troubleshooting
Generation Failed
- Check your internet connection
- Verify your Pro license is active
- Try again in a few moments
Low Quality Output
- Add more context to your business information
- Be more specific about what you want generated
- Regenerate for a different variation
Daily Limit Reached
- Wait until midnight UTC for the limit to reset
- Plan your generations to stay within the daily limit
- Edit existing content manually instead of regenerating
